Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
The short version
Your saved reels and collections stay on your device. SaveAnything has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. If you allow notifications, we store only what's needed to send them, and nothing that identifies you by name or email.
What stays on your device
When you share a link to SaveAnything, the app stores that link, along with its title, thumbnail and the collections you assign, in a database on your device. We never receive this data. It is deleted when you delete the app.
Link previews
When you save a link, the app may contact the platform the link points to (for example YouTube or TikTok) to fetch the public title and thumbnail. This request goes directly from your device to that platform and includes only the link you chose to save. When you open a saved reel, it opens at its original source, where that platform's own privacy policy applies.
Notifications
From version 1.0.3, the app can send you occasional notifications, for example when an update is available. When you open the app, it sends our server:
- a random install ID created by the app,
- your platform (iOS or Android) and app version,
- whether notifications are allowed, and
- if they are, a notification token issued by Apple or Google.
We use this only to deliver notifications and to know which app versions are in use. It is not linked to your name, email or saved reels. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings, and deleting the app stops them for good.
Accounts
SaveAnything doesn't have accounts today. If we add them in a future version, we'll update this policy before they launch to explain exactly what an account stores and how to delete it.
This website
saveanything.net uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic request details, such as your IP address, to serve pages and protect against abuse.
Services we use
We don't sell or share your data. We rely on a few providers to run the service:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and our server,
- Supabase, which stores the notification details described above, and
- Expo, which delivers notifications to Apple and Google, who deliver them to your device.
Your choices
You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings or delete the app at any time. To ask about or delete anything we hold, email hello@saveanything.net.
Children's privacy
SaveAnything does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
When we add features that change what we collect, we'll update this page and its effective date before those features ship.
